About a month ago there was a discussion in Telegram and CEO of Mintos made a bold claim - that all Mintos loan originators are audited. Is that really so? I checked.
This Kristaps guy seems suspicious to me. I hear that he is doing nothing else but playing poker (and losing), drinking scotch and writing bad things about good people who are just trying to make a quick buck. Who is paying for that lifestyle, I ask, who? George Soros, that's who!
Hat tip for the research. Let me break the news to everyone - any auditor outside Big4 should be considered as red-flag. I would even dare to say that the smaller the country is and the further from IFRS, the more likelihood of audit not covering it should have. Even Big4 in some smaller, more remote (from IFRS) countries are struggling very very much with IFRS. Yes, there are always exceptions - good quality local auditors that are usually with background in Big4. But you have to know them.

True, I will try to get better at poker :)
Thanks for putting so much effort into investigating the ugly in peer2peer, Kristaps!
